Wow, Elisa, you are learning how to deal with some drastic changes in your body. As women, we deal so strongly with the image conscious society in which we live. As I age, all my saggy, baggy skin and my "love handles" make me reluctant to get in a bathing suit as well. But underneath the skin is the real beautiful you whom God made. Thank you so much. It is already weird to see my body not be mine, but then hearing my teens talk about youth--it doesn't seem far away enough yet for me to be removed from youth. Aging is really affects us, it is its own type of grief, even as we gain wisdom.
